Lopers Win Intercollegiate in Axtell

Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska Kearney women’s golf team overcame the elements to win the 2023 Nebraska Intercollegiate this weekend at Awarii Dunes in Axtell. The Nebraska Golf Association (NGA) hosted the event which was UNK’s first time at home since Sept. 2019. The tournament, also featuring a men’s field, included high winds and cool temps on Friday with a freeze warning pushing back things three hours on Saturday.
