Murfreesboro, N.C. – North Greenville overcame turnovers and a late fourth quarter push by Chowan on Saturday to earn a 31 – 16 Gulf South road win over the Hawks, improving the Crusader to 3 – 3 overall and 2 – 2 in GSC play. The Crusaders led 17 – 3 at intermission on the strength of Ahmari Coats first receiving touchdown at NGU and Corey Watkins second rushing touchdown of the season.
