PREP FOOTBALL: Oakwood loses to Iroquois West

FITHIAN — The Oakwood football team started Friday’s game with Iroquois West with a 14-7 first quarter lead. But the Raiders tied the game up at halftime and would outscore the comets 23-6 in the second half for a 37-20 win. Cameron Black ran for 53 yards and a touchdown while Jackson Dudley passed for 181 yards with Chase Harrison catching five passes for two touchdowns. The Raiders mad big plays on offense and defense with Iroquois West defenders getting two interception returns for touchdowns.
