Women’s Cross Country Races At Westfield State’s James Earley Invitational

Westfield, Mass.-The University of Bridgeport women’s cross country squad took part in Saturday’s 27th Annual James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield (Mass.) State University in Stanley Park, and the Purple Knights finished 22nd as team. Sophomore Emilia Russell (Kingston, U.K.) was the first UB runner across the line in the 6K event, as she turned in a time of 28:05.99 placing her in 109th scoring position. Emily Stuart (Fr., Rising Sun, Md.) who finished in a time of 29:43.80 was the next Bridgeport finished in the 124th scoring spot. Up next, the UB cross country teams head to New Hampshire…
