Woodward Nets Game Winner for WildCats over Ferrum

LYNCHBURG, Va- After 89 minutes of play and time winding down, the Randolph and Ferrum women’s soccer teams seemed destined to play to a scoreless tie on Saturday evening at WildCat Stadium. With just under 19 seconds to play, the WildCats got the goal they were looking for all night as Sterlyn Woodward (Madison, Va./Madison County) connected on a shot that just tucked into the right side of the goalpost and in to give Randolph the 1-0 victory.
