Machado’s goal not enough in loss to Bluefield St

BLUEFIELD, WV- The Allen University women;s soccer team fell 7-1 on the road at Bluefield St. on Sunday afternoon. Freshman forward Tatyana Machado scored the lone goal for the yellow jackets scoring in the 37th minute to get AU to within at 2-1 midway through the first half after Bluefield had scored two early goals. It was Machado’s third goal of the season. Bluefield then added their third goal late in the half to take a 3-1 lead into the break while leading the shot count 12-5.
