Soccer Edged By Mississippi State On the Road
STARKVILLE, Miss. – Ole Miss soccer (6-5-2, 2-3-1 SEC) went down to the wire with Mississippi State (8-3-3, 3-2-1 SEC) Sunday night but could not come away with a win, losing 1-0. The difference in the match was a penalty kick awarded and converted by the Bulldogs in the 35th minute. Neither team put more than four shots on goal in what was a physical match from beginning to end.
