Tennis Edged Out By Colby-Sawyer, But Claim Second Seed In GNAC Post-Season

BRIGHTON, Mass. – Simmons tennis (5-7, 2-2 GNAC) concluded Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action falling to Colby-Sawyer College (4-2, 4-0 GNAC) on Sunday afternoon. The Chargers were quick to jump out in front early, taking doubles 2-1. Simmons second doubles tandem of senior Sara Fucillo and junior Emily Lopez managed to squeak out the lone double win with an 8-6 win over Mei Genest and Mary Thoms.
