Mountain Lions compete at Charger Invitational

By: Madison Urquiola Assistant Director of Athletics for External Operations HUNTSVILLE, ALA. | The Young Harris College men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the University of Alabama Huntsville Charger Invitational Saturday (Oct. 7). The men finished with a score of 808 in the 8000 meter run and the women finished with a score of 1038 in the 5000 meter run. The Mountain Lions return to action Saturday, October 21st in Charlotte, North Carolina for the Conference Carolinas Championships at McAlpine Creek Park. Freshman Emily Baars led Young Harris with a time of 20:36.30 and finished in 197th place.…
