Thiel competes in Westminster Fall Invitational

NEW CASTLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men’s golf team competed Monday in the Westminster Fall Invitational, which took place at Avalon Field Club at New Castle. Thiel finished 10th with a team score of 360. Point Park (309) won the team title while Westminster (314) was the runner-up. Zakary Phillis (Monaca, Pa./Central Valley) led the Tomcats with a score of 85 to tie for 35th. Patrick Belback (Greenville, Pa./Reynolds) carded a 90 to tie for 47th while Marc Knox (Franklin, Pa./Franklin) tied for 52nd with a 91.
