The Panthers are reportedly looking to trade for a No. 1-caliber wide receiver, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, and although Hardman isn’t that, he could be an additional weapon for rookie quarterback Bryce Young. Carolina’s receiving core is currently led by 33-year-old Adam Thielen and lacks the speed that Hardman possesses. Bringing Hardman in won’t turn around the Panthers’ 0-5 season, but it certainly couldn’t hurt.
