McDonnell Earns CAA Runner of the Week Honor

Hempstead, NY – Hofstra women’s cross country runner Jordyn McDonnell was named the recipient of the Coastal Athletic Association Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week in an announcement by the conference office this morning. A graduate student from Lake Ronkonkoma, New York, McDonnell earned Runner of the Week honors after finishing first in a 5K race at the Metropolitan Championships on October 7. McDonnell finished first with a personal best time of 17:06.48, and shattered Hofstra’s 5K school record. McDonnell and the Pride return to action on October 27th for the CAA Championships in Williamsburg, Virginia.
