Meier Earns Second NSIC Athlete of the Week

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Minnesota State senior Tanner Meier (Lodi, Wisconsin) was named Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the second time this season Tuesday. Meier won the Briar Cliff Invitational and ran a personal best time of 24:39.14 on the 8K course on Saturday. Meier’s average mile time was 4:57.5 as he helped the Mavericks to a second place finish in the 18 team field.
