METAMORA, Ill. – Mississippi University for Women women’s golf finished in fifth place at its first-ever St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Championships, contested October 8-10 at Metamora Fields. Junior Olivia Derbyshire (Ocean Springs, Miss.) placed 12th, overall, to earn second team All-SLIAC honors, the first-ever MUW athlete to earn post-season recognition in the program’s new NCAA Division III and SLIAC affiliation.
