Parnell Caps Strong Season, Earns All-UMAC First Team Honors; Two Yellowjackets Named All-UMAC
By: Ryan Castaneda, Sports Information Specialist SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced its women’s golf post-season awards in a release Tuesday, and two Yellowjackets were tabbed as All-UMAC golfers. Sophomore Ashton Parnell (Cambridge, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti) landed on the All-UMAC First Team, while freshman Olivia Weyenberg (Stacy, Minn./North Branch Area) picked up an honorable mention nod. Freshman Karin Hill (Duluth, Minn/Denfeld) was the Yellowjackets’ representative on the UMAC Sportsmanship Team.
