TUSKEGEE, Ala. __ Tuskegee University middle blocker Sian Sprinkle was named the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday afternoon, announced by the league office. Sprinkle registered 18 blocks over the past week for Tuskegee, averaging 1.2 blocks per set to supass the 50-block mark of the season.
