Torrillo Claims CAA Weekly Honor After Making His Collegiate Debut

Hempstead, NY – Hofstra men’s cross country runner Daniel Torrillo was named the recipient of the Coastal Athletic Association Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week in an announcement by the conference office this morning. A freshman from Morganville, New Jersey, Torrillo earned Runner of the Week honors after making his collegiate debut at the Metropolitan Championships and earned a top-five finish in the men’s 8K race. Torrillo placed fourth in a time of 25:04.53. Torrillo and the Pride return to action on October 27th for the CAA Championships in Williamsburg, Virginia.
