Women’s Volleyball Bested by St. Joseph’s-LI

PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Purchase College women’s volleyball team was defeated at home Tuesday night, falling to St. Joseph’s University-Long Island in straight sets. Scores for the contest were 25-8, 25-12 and 25-15. With the result, the Panthers moved to 4-12 overall and 2-5 in the Skyline Conference. For the Golden Eagles, they jumped to 10-6 and 5-1, respectively. On the night, the guests used early and long runs to create separation between themselves and Purchase, as the Blue and Orange couldn’t find the run needed to rally back.
