Vikings Shutout MLC 7-0

Mankato, MN – The Martin Luther College men’s soccer squad lost its conference game on Wednesday evening to Bethany 7-0. The Knights had hoped to even up the season series with their rival, but had difficulty keeping the Vikings off of the attack. Bethany outshot MLC 39-3 in the contest including 24-0 in shots on net. The Vikings began their damage from the opening moments of the game, executing off of a penalty kick goal in the sixth minute and never looked back from there.
