Watson earns weekly league accolade

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. (Oct. 11) – After earning medalist honors over the weekend, California (PA) senior Reese Watson was selected the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Athlete of the Week on Wednesday afternoon. Watson won the Mercyhurst Fall Invitational on Saturday by four strokes after shooting a four-under 140 (70-70) at Lake View Country Club. He fired seven birdies over two days, including four on the front nine on Friday, and played just three holes over par.
