DuCharme Scores in Home Loss to Valparaiso

CARBONDALE, Ill. – Kaitlin DuCharme scored her third goal of the season on Thursday night as the Southern Illinois University women’s soccer team (1-9-5) fell to Valparaiso, 2-1, in the final home game of the season. The Beacons got on the board early, scoring in the 16th minute after Chase Ray found the back-of-the-net off of a Sam Gountounas assist. Valpo out-shot SIU, 7-4, in the first half.
