Pride pull away from Mammoths for sweep

AMHERST, Mass. — The Amherst College volleyball team put up a good fight Thursday night but ultimately fell short of a super Springfield College team in three sets, 25-19, 25-17 and 25-11. Amherst is now 5-7 on the season while Springfield improved to 18-1. The Mammoths are at Tufts Saturday for a 2:30 p.m. match.
