Women’s Tennis Falls to Queens College 6-1

Flushing, N.Y- The Chargers tennis team headed down to New York to take on Queens College, where they took their second loss of the season with a 6-1, final on the afternoon. Karim Carreras (Asuncion, Paraguay/Colegio Bautista de Villa Morra) picking up another match win for New Haven’s only point. No. 2 doubles pair Risako Umekuni (Saitama, Japan/Shumei Eiko) and Lucia Placidi (Melbourne, Australia/Distance Education Centre Victoria) would pick up the only win in the doubles matches.
