Both UB Cross Country Teams Take Ninth Place At The Bruce Kirsh Cup In New Hampshire

Hopkinton, N.H.-Both University of Bridgeport cross teams took ninth place at the Bruce Kirsch Cup event hosted by Franklin Pierce University on Friday afternoon. Sophomore Emilia Russell (Kingston, U.K.) led the UB women over the 5K course with a time of 22:15.3 which put her in the 35th scoring place and 64th overall. Genevieve Fayo (So., Cornwall, N.Y.) was the next Bridgeport female finisher cross the finish line in a time of 24:58.7 putting her in the 47th scoring spot and 64th overall.
