Cardinals Defeated 4-0 At Home By UIS

LIBERTY, Mo. – The William Jewell women’s soccer team lost Friday night 4-0 hosting the University of Illinois Springfield. Jewell moves to 1-11-0 on the year and 1-5-0 in the GLVC. HOW IT HAPPENED After a quick goal by UIS, senior Kate Lawrence cut up the middle almost getting the goal off of a rebound originally shot by Anya Linstrom. The Prairie Stars were able to put up a pair of goals in the second half to extend their lead to four, resulting in the final score.
