FH Drops to Providence in Double OT
STORRS, Conn. – The UConn field hockey team (5-9, 2-3 BIG EAST) dropped to the Providence Friars on Friday afternoon in a double overtime contest. The first quarter was scoreless as the Huskies and the Friars battled it out in the midfield. UConn came out strong in the second period, with an unassisted goal from sophomore, Sol Simone, in the first minute of the quarter. This was Simone’s fourth goal of the season.
