Streak Stopped as Women’s Tennis Falls in Semifinal

HOUGHTON, NY – The Nazareth University Women’s Tennis team had advanced to six consecutive Empire 8 Tournament championship matches but a very close 5-4 loss to No. 2 seed Alfred ended the fall season for the No. 3 seed Golden Flyers. Alfred advances to play St. John Fisher in the championship match. The Cardinals won a 5-4 decision over top-seeded Hartwick earlier Friday.
