Vassar Scores Early and Often in 5-0 Win over Saints
Two Vassar goals 1:04 apart were the difference Friday afternoon in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., as the St. Lawrence University field hockey team fell behind and weren’t able to mount a comeback in a 5-0 loss to the Weinberg Turf Field. Vassar struck first in the game, with Maggie Werner scoring at 8:23. They received more offense in the next few minutes, as Sydney Kovel added Vassar’s second of the game at 13:54.
