Volleyball Tripped Up at No. 14 Wesleyan
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – The Connecticut College women’s volleyball team suffered a 3-0 setback at No. 14 Wesleyan University on Friday night in a NESCAC showdown at Silloway Gymnasium. Wesleyan won by set scores of 25-15, 25-13 and 25-14 to improve to 14-1 overall (7-0 NESCAC). Sophia Lindus tallied a match-high 14 kills as the Cardinals finished with 44 kills on 100 swings (.320). Emma Wheeler (Meredith, N.H.) paced Conn with six kills and two block assists on the night. Katherine Randall (Chicago, Ill.) and Riley Lord (Exeter, N.H.) added five kills apiece.
