Women’s Cross Country: Ide leads Owls to seventh at JennaStrong Classic

WILMINGTON, Ohio – Olivia Ide paced the Kenyon College women’s cross country team on Friday evening for the JennaStrong Fall Classic hosted by Wilmington College, where Kenyon scored 209 points, enough to secure seventh place. Ide’s 20:14.43 time was enough to snag 22nd place overall in an event that featured 32 teams and nearly 250 runners. Anna Brown, finishing at 20:26.24 and 32nd place along with Penny Griffioen, stopping the clock at 20:40.18 and finishing in 37th finished next in the 5k event for the Owls, all breaking through the top 40.
