Cross Country Concludes Competition at Pre-Nationals

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Ohio men’s and women’s cross country teams concluded competition at the 2023 Pre-Nationals meet on Saturday. The men competed in the orange 8k, finishing seventh out of 11 teams, and the women finished 18th out of 20 programs in the blue 6k. Fifth year Tony Tonkovich (Athens, Ohio) and junior Theresa Hagey (Akron, Ohio) led both teams with the top finishes of all Bobcat runners. Tonkovich placed 26th in the men’s orange 8k with a time of 24:53.4. Hagey placed in the top 50 of the women’s blue 6k, finishing 42nd with a time of 20:53.3.…
