Curran’s Game-Winner Leads Men’s Soccer Past Juniata, 2-1

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Sophomore Justin Curran (Media, Pa./The Shipley School) scored the game-winner in the 72nd minute and The University of Scranton men’s soccer team (7-2-4, 1-2-3 Landmark) notched a 2-1 victory over the Juniata College Eagles (5-7-1, 1-5 Landmark) on Saturday afternoon at Gibbel Stadium in Huntingdon. Fellow sophomore Gavin Scavino (Succasunna, N.J./Gill St. Bernard’s) sent a pass to Curran who ripped a shot from outside the 18-yard box and beat a diving Juniata goalie to give the Royals a 2-1 lead.
