Elon Cross Country Competes At Pre-Nationals

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Elon University men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the XC-23 NCAA Pre-Nationals on Saturday, Oct. 14. Against a strong field, Elon’s men scored 291 points to finish 11th in the Orange 8K race and the Phoenix women posted 275 points to place 14th in the Orange 6K event. Men’s Recap Sophomore Evan Taylor paced the Phoenix in 54th place with a time of 25:25.3. Daniel King came home shortly after Taylor, as the junior clocked a 25:37.5 to finish 70th.
