Field hockey falls to Newberry on the road
Newberry, SC – The Lincoln Memorial field hockey team took to the road Saturday to take on ninth ranked Newberry. The two teams met earlier this season with the Wolves taking a 5-0 decision in Harrogate. Saturday’s contest was a near mirror image of this season’s earlier contest. Newberry took Saturday’s decision 6-0. Tamsin Bagert was the first on the board for the Wolves, scoring on an assist from Hailey Moore, giving Newberry an early 1-0 lead in the sixth minute of the game.
