Gorloks Remain at the Top of the SLIAC

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Webster University women’s soccer team was back in action this afternoon when they played host the Fontbonne (Mo.) University Griffins for a matchup of the top two teams in the SLIAC standings. The Gorloks defeated the Griffins by a final score of 1-0 to improve to 8-3-1 on the season and 5-0 in conference play. With the loss, the Griffins drop to 5-7-1 overall and 5-1 in conference play. The Gorloks were outshot 13-12 in the game and put three shots on target compared to five from Fontbonne.
