Hokies place third at Upstate Invite

SPARTANBURG, S.C. and CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia Tech’s Ben Nagel scored sixth (24:34.3) in the men’s 8k in Spartanburg, S.C. leading the men’s team to a third place finish at the Upstate Invite with 95 points. Freshman Garrett Winters crossed the finish line second for the Hokies scoring 10th with a personal-best time of 24:45.6.
