Lady Panthers, Panthers Compete Against Top Field at Upstate Invitational

SPARTANBURG, SC – The Claflin University men’s and women’s cross-country teams looked sharp at the Upstate Invitational, Saturday morning. Competing against some of the top runners and teams on the east coast, the Claflin Lady Panthers and Panthers had some impressive performances at the meet. The Lady Panthers had a mix of experience and youth leading the way at the meet. For the third straight meet, Claflin junior Madison McDonald led the way for the team. She ran a 21:15.7 at the meet.
