PREP FOOTBALL: Westville cruises past HAAP

HOOPESTON — The Westville football team jumped out to a 41-0 halftime lead and would go on to a 47-16 win over Hoopeston Area/Armstrong-Potomac on Friday. For the Cornjerkers, Kollin Asbury had 72 yards rushing while Ayden Larkin had 50 yards rushing. Westville is 7-1 overall and in the Vermilion Valley Conference and will end the regular season at home against Iroquois West next week, while HAAP is 2-6 and will end the season on the road against Watseka.
