Sunbirds Record First and Sixth Place Finishes in Team Competition at Slug Shootout

SANTA CRUZ, Calif.- The Fresno Pacific Sunbirds Swim & Dive team competed strong at the two-day Slug Shootout hosted by UC Santa Cruz Friday and Saturday with the men claiming top spot and the women finishing in sixth. Jan Bialecki logged the first win of the day in the 100-yard butterfly while Nelson Maier’s 100- yard backstroke, Maximillian Pecile’s 400-yard IM and Rasmus Hanson’s 50-yard freestyle were among the Sunbird men’s best individual finishes Friday in Santa Cruz.
