Tennis Closes Out Fall Season, Falling to Regis In GNAC Semifinals
BRIGHTON, Mass. – No. 2 Simmons tennis’ (5-9) season came to a close on Saturday afternoon, falling to No. 3 Regis College in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Semifinals. The Pride jumped out to an early lead, taking the first two doubles matches. However, the Sharks third doubles tandem of senior Sara Fucillo and junior Emily Lopez knocked off Sophi Machado and Akshita Duvvuri, 8-2, to head to singles only trailing by one.
