Thomas, Rangers Blank Goucher for Landmark Win

TOWSON, Md. – Graduate student Alexa Thomas scored the game’s only goal 43 seconds into the fourth quarter and the Drew University field hockey team earned a 1-0 Landmark Conference victory at Goucher College on Saturday. The Rangers outshot the Gophers 13-5 while earning their second Landmark victory of the season. Senior Olyvia Jackson made a pair of saves to pick up her second shutout of the season for Drew. The Rangers held an 11-1 shot advantage in the opening half but were unable to dent Goucher goalie Katie Bloom, who made six stops in the game’s first 30 minutes.…
