Thunder women’s cross country runs in a loaded field at the Augustana Interregional Invitational

Rock Island, Ill. – The Wheaton cross country teams competed at the Augustana Interregional Invitational on Saturday, one of the top Division III Cross Country meets on the schedule this year. The Thunder women’s cross country team placed 27th in the 42-team field on 6K course at Saukie Golf Course in the Quad Cities. University of Chicago finished second in the women’s team standings with 48 points, Wartburg finished second with 68 points, WashU scored 129 points in third place, Colorado College was fourth with 148 points and Calvin scored 165 points in fifth place.
