Wolves Drop SAC Matchup with Tusculum

NEWBERRY – After a scoreless first half and taking a 1-0 lead early in the second half, the Newberry College men’s soccer team fell 2-1 to the visiting Tusculum Pioneers this afternoon at the Smith Road Complex. The Wolves (3-6-2, 1-5-2 South Atlantic Conference) scored the game’s first goal in the 56th minute, breaking up the defensive stalemate. That goal was scored by Uriel Zarracan – his third straight game with a goal – after Seraphin Guetan set him up with a perfect pass on the right side for his team-leading fourth assist of the season.
