Women’s Soccer: Macalester Drops MIAC Game to St. Kate’s
ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester women’s soccer team went just down the road this afternoon for a MIAC contest against St. Catherine. The Scots were able to cut the Wildcats’ lead in the second, but their efforts fell short, as Macalester lost 3-1. Macalester’s record is now 8-6 (5-3 MIAC), while St. Kate’s improves to 12-3 (7-1 MIAC). The Wildcats threatened the Scots early, forcing first year goalkeeper Abigail Heuga (San Francisco, Calif./Urban School of San Francisco) to make three saves in the first 15 minutes of the game.
