Woods leads Herons to second straight CCOC title

GENEVA, N.Y.—The William Smith College cross country team defended its home course this afternoon as it hosted the Cross Country Only Championships (CCOC) 6k race this morning at the Seneca Lake State Park cross country course. Ainsley Woods’s first place finish led William Smith and lifted the Herons to their best finish of the season and second straight CCOC title. Woods was crowned the CCOC champion for the second-straight year after finishing first out of 52 runners.
