Eastern Connecticut State University and senior All-America Ashton Lewis are making a strong challenge in the 88th Annual New England Intercollegiate Golf Championships. After the first day of competition, Lewis is tied for first place individually, while the Warriors are tied for third place as a team. Last year’s champions, Babson College, are not competing as a team this year. The tournament concludes on Sunday with Eastern’s golfers teeing off at 10 a.m.
