Bulldogs Drop 2-1 Decision to Alcorn State

LORMAN, Miss. | The Alabama A&M University women’s soccer team closed out its road trip on Sunday afternoon, dropping a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) match to Alcorn State, 2-1, at Spinks Marino Casem Stadium. Alcorn State (5-10 overall, 3-5 SWAC), who outshot the Bulldogs 9-5 in the opening half, broke the scoreless tie right before halftime as Natacia Ruiz scored on a penalty kick as the Braves grabbed a 1-0 lead.
