Johnson’s Five Points Leads Women’s Soccer Past Middlebury 3-2

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College women’s soccer team stayed hot, picking up their third straight win, taking down visiting Middlebury College 3-2 on Sunday from Freeman Field. With the win, Conn improves to 7-5-0 overall and 3-5-0 in NESCAC play, while Middlebury falls to 5-4-4 overall and 1-4-3 in conference play. Middlebury (5-4-4, 1-4-3) got the first shot of the game, as Olivia Irwin-Pokorny hit the crossbar at 3:30.
