Mavericks Take Down Wildcats 1-0

The early first half goal for Minnesota State was enough to hold off Wayne State Sunday afternoon as the Mavericks soccer defeated the Wildcats 1-0 in Mankato. Minnesota State moves to 9-1-4 on the season (7-0-3 NSIC). Wayne State falls to 5-6-2 on the year with a 3-4-2 record in the NSIC. The Mavericks would come out firing out shots on the Wildcats putting out five shots in the first 13 minutes of the game.
