Murphy scores in FH loss
RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College field hockey team fell to Marian University 4-1 on Sunday afternoon in Darrell Beane Stadium. Piper Brill was active on the offense with five shots, and four attempts on frame. After taking a 1-0 lead in the first quarter, the Sabres scored two more goals to start the third quarter. Rorey Murphy collected a rebound on a shot from Brill, and scored on the second-chance shot in the 47th minute of play. Rachel Alma collected 14 saves in cage, and Avary Osborne made a defensive save. The Quakers were outshot 31-10 on the afternoon.…
